I'm on the shore of CT in old saybrook, the other side of the street got a notice to evac. Probably 15' above sea level but thats just a guess. My house is raised with an unfinished basement so at least we have that going for us. Temp just dropped about 10 degrees and the wind is picking up. I pit the 19-6 behind the house and put the tongue up on cinder blocks. Hoping for the best here. Glad to hear the folks that all ready got hit made out fine so far:) Hunkered down in CT

Y'all are getting hit pretty well right now in CT.  Hope all are safe.  BTW, I bought a boat a while back in Old Saybrook - it was at the Ragged Rocks marina.  Nice area.

Well its almost most over here in Delaware. Still getting a lot of wind. We only lost power for 15 mins.. We also lost a few trees in my woods. I was just standing next to the door and heard a bang. Saw a tree snap off about 10 feet up. I guess it was rotted there. I’m staying out of the woods till all the wind stops. I want to see how many trees I lost. But not that bad that I can’t wait. A long the coast we got it pretty hard. Rehoboth beach and Lewis got it the worst. Lewis had a tornado yesterday as well as the storm. Took out 15 buildings, from what I heard. We had tornado warnings all day Sat. But all together, I guess it could have been worse. Going to ride up to the beach and see how bad it tore it up. We are 3 miles inland. So we didn’t have to evacuate. All yea the more important thing. My boats are ok. No trees fall on any of them, but full of leaves. I guess I’ll have to do some cleaning. :thumleft:

Your right about that. But man are we still getting the wind. its blowing 25 and gusting to 52. I was just out on my front porch and heard 5 more trees come down, when a big gust just came throw  . I think I'll wait till this after noon to ride up the beach.

We faired well in Raleigh, right now I'm at Carolina beach collecting sea shells.  My friends beach house is okay, time to get it ready for the fall fishing season.

My nieghborhood here in NJ got shellacked. We lost power around midnight last night. My street got it back about an hour ago, but it doesnt look to good for the rest of the nieghborhood. Trees and wires down everywhere.

Good morning guys! Just got to work...cable/internet still out at the house. Not much damage here..lot of trees down, yard trashed, that's it. It was a slow mover...and big. Took over 24 hours start to finish. Glad it wasn't a Cat 3. We were very fortunate, and are very thankful.

Hope you guys north of here came out ok. We'll be thinking of you.

Thanks again to all for checking on us!!

Best,

Scott

smooth sailing in the Berkshires compaired to other places..a little wind and rain..some flooding and loss of power in nearby towns.  Went to RI last friday and pulled the 222 from her slip and stored her at a freinds house in N. Kingstown for the storm.  Just talked to him a while ago and no issues.  His neighbor is a harbor master and informed him that a few boats came loose and hit the rocks in Quonsett. Just waiting to hear from the dock owner to find out when I can access my slip.
