Bill,
I find this outfit has the best prices online on Faria gauges.  Boatersland.  Of course ours have 316 SS bezels.

For the full set, $170.  Same set, no speedo, $145.  I have to contact my guy who reps Faria, so you have to give me a few days.

BTW, what FF/GPS did you order?

By "cherry", I meant stain, as it gives you that beautiful reddish glow that seems to "lighten" up furniture.  JMO.
That is what this weekend is about, matching the frame to the flooring.  Maybe Cherry stain will do the trick on my sample boards??
Slippery - you do kitchens and such - do you spray all your finishes?

Rick,
Give Cherry a whirl on your scraps.  Of course make sure they are sanded to the same level as your headboard.
Gotta love GPS speed!  "Gosh, this is actually how fast we're going!"

Rick,
Well, that I really can't tell you right now, but I can find out.  My good friend, Matt Bailey, who runs Donzi's Lam department, was my inspector at Wellcraft back in '94.  Worked with him at Hydra-Sports up in Columbia, SC in '98.  Needless to say, we go back aways.  I know our pres is making his twice a week trips down to Sarasota, but seeing as we haven't been back to work for a while, things may have changed.

I'll give him a call and let you know.  You being down there, have you heard something I haven't?  Article in the Herald-Tribune maybe?

Bill,
Sorry, back on topic here.  Tach and Speedo are 4", the rest are 2".

You'll have to forgive Rick and I.  He lives at the south end of Sarasota Bay, I lived at the north end, and trust me, it's a long bay.  But an absolutely beautiful bay.  Great fishing, great culture.  I was first introduced to Sarasota in 1966 (as a little fellow) and ended up living there for 6 years.  Has a lot of fond memories for me, and I bug Rick a little bit out of sentimentality to keep me filled in.  My wife grew up in Sarasota (off Bee Ridge, for you, Rick), so we tend to keep tabs.

ANYWAY, Bill, you should trailer that 22 down sometime, when she's all spiffed up, launch her at 10th St. or City Island, and enjoy the bay we love.  Potholes for Flounder.  Oyster beds and channel edges for Redfish.  The canals and docks for snook.  Grass flats for Trout, Mangrove Snapper, and juvenile Grouper.  The Manatee River main channel at the north end for Pompano and Permit.

Well, I guess you can tell I miss that place... :D

I love the gauges, but I need to mention it to the other guys 1st!
I'm sure we'll be ordering a set through you !

Thanks for all your help,
Bill
