Tach Rebuild?
« on: December 28, 2024, 01:43:03 PM »
The tachometer on my 2001 215 DC is wonky, 200hp Johnson is the motor.  It doesn't read correctly all the time and when you tap on t it moves around a lot.

Any suggestions on a place to rebuild it?  I'm in New Jersey.

Or maybe I should try to find something new?

I doubt you'll find a place to fix it. Might want to go to the teleflex site and see what they offer service-wise and look at new.

Dometic bought Seastar which bought Teleflex and I don't see any gauges on their site.

Yeah, Dometic bought everything in the RV world to. Check Worst Marine, they probably stock them.
