And the adventure continues!   :salut:   Remember the old Aquasport motto: An adventure in every ride!   :thumleft:

About time for another Cracker Barrel or Awful House stop, isn't it?

We are in FL!  Stopped at the welcome center to empty the tanks and get some juice.  My copilot Roadasprin is at the wheel.  The boat pulls great' can hardly feel it back there. Last night I kept having to look and see if it was still back there!

Making time now!!!!! Like I said before, that boat is going to look real nice running out of Clearwater pass.

I just don't understand why someone would put buddy bearings on top of the EZ lubes! Another question that comes to mind is why would grans trailer guys put them back on if they did the bearings? When you pull those type hubs it is very plain to see the way they are set up. Does this mean the whole time the BBs have been on there the bearings were not getting lubed?

Can you tell I don't like buddy bearings?

Losing a buddy bearing is usually the result of way too much grease in the hub.  It needs room to expand when it warms up.  I learned the hard way.  90% of buddy bearing owners pump too much grease in them and blow the seals too.

We had a bad experience with the trailer guys. They are the only game in town, and they know it. Crap attitudes too.

On the road again.  Got some zzzzs in the super duty hotel last night.  :-)   (rest stop)  I'm riding shotgun now so I can make up dates.  I found a fuel flow guage on the boat!   :thumleft:

COOL!!!  An extra plus...if it works.  Flo-Scan?

Landed an hour or two ago.  Been showing her off to my friends and playing with all the doo dads.  Everything seems to work except the fuel gauge.  Gauge on sender shows over half a tank.   The trailer guy installed and charged me for buddy the bearings!   At least it looks like they added some type of antifreeze to the fresh water tank.

I just got off of the phone with Scott, he said the trailer guys were perfect A holes.... Told me about the spare tire BS. He said you took a lot of pictures; can't wait to see the boat porn. I've been to Onslow Bay Boats as well; nice rides.

Wing, congrats on getting home!!  Well done, and I'll leave the trailer comments for others...

You know the deal with the sender.  First, take a jumper from a known "good" ground and touch it to the center post of the sender, should peg the gauge at the helm to full.  Then...

Well, like I said, for a cursory inspection (and maybe a bit of TS'ing), just let me know.  Be happy to come down for a small fee (hmm, what's a 12-pack of natty light going for?)...
