Scuba tank racks are part of my plans for her.  Spent the afternoon cleaning her up.  My girlfriend Amy (Roadasprins daughter) did a great job power washing her.  I can't believe the dealer didn't clean her up.  They could have gotten more for her!  Pics to follow Superbowl.  Go Pats!   :D

That didn't work!

Damn, Bruce, does she bring back memories...the boat, not Amy!

See you even have the hold-down brackets for the porta-potti down below...

I know what those cracks are from.  When she was decked, way back when, the decking crew REALLY had to pry (with pry bars) the deck flange outward to get it to come down over the hull flange.  That's why they run horizontally rather than vertically.  I was expecting either a vertical cracking or a more random type of cracking.

She's a '98 and that's all that has happened, you're in good shape.  Amy's Dad know's how to properly fix them, once that's done, you're good to go.  Matter of fact, if they don't bother you TOO much, you don't even need to fix them.  There are no structural issues here... :salut:  :salut:

She's a beaut!!!  Love the ladder back helm chair...that wasn't an option!

Thanks Bob that explains a lot.  I was tapping on the cracked area and I can tell that the cracks are in transition area where the glass goes from thin to thick.

BTW the floscan gauge works!

Hiding under the Mahi sticker in between Reel and crazy is a ghost and adhesive of the Tournament Master marlin.  Seeing that Reel Crazy seems to have all the options I believe she is/was a TM.

The cracks are not as noticeable now that she is clean.  They don't bother me too much anyways.

No, she wasn't a TM, she just had all the options that came standard with the TM package.  The old Marlin was part of the standard graphics package.  But she has everything that a TM would have...except for the Armstrong Dive Ladder.  The mounting brackets would be on the outside transom wall in front of the motor...

Your're going to love her, bud, I guaranty you that!!  Let the novelty sink in, get some hours on her, enjoy, then go about fixing this and that, make her the way you want her...and recover from the $$$ outlay!!

Yup I have all the cushions and the enclosures for the hard top and the bolsters.  Some of the cushions need minor repair but I know a guy that can do that stuff!   :D

Not a TM oh well,  she will have a Armstrong ladder eventually for diving and I'm going to remove the mahi/dolphin sticker and get a proper marlin on there.  I'm going to remove the upper pinstripes. (they are half gone anyway).

Your right Bob I'm gonna just enjoy her as she is.  I'm going to replace the fuel line, primer and filter and taker her out.  After all like Capt Ron says  "if anythings gonna happen it's gonna happen out there boss!"

Does the helm chair bolster (leaning post position) fold forward as a thigh support when seated or do you just remove it?  :thumright:

Whoops I had the album set to private.  It's fixed now so all can see the 95 photos!

Yes the bolster hinges down into a seat.  It's really neat and comfortable too!

Looked at all the pics, nice boat wing!on the port stern is there a bracket for a ladder?looked like it may have had some holes patched on the transom wall, where the ladder brackets go.does it have the freshwater washdown in the transom door area?I really like that hard top, definately the TM top,be sure to check all the welds for cracks, they can be repaired pretty cheap.Thats alotta boat there, looks good, enjoy!
