This is just crazy, we don't even know if they had breakfast yet  :? and that is the most important meal of the day after all.

Breakfast is a must!!  And a big one at that!!!

Well boys...wing has a nice boat

They got here around 10:30, we went to the trailer place and picked up the boat...then to the dealer to pay for the boat...cranked her first...then to eat fried shrimp, fried oysters, and crabcakes....then to Onslow Bay to see them being made...then to another place to see the new Onslow 32 molds...then to see my 22-2.

Just got back to the house. Wing and Ed decided to hit the road back south. So they'll drive a good ways tonight.

Wing is planning on posting some pics of the day and tell more of the story when they get to the motel tonight.

Enjoyed it guys, great meeting you both!

We are in Latta SC.   Scott your gonna have to go thump on your trailer guys.  I got about 46 miles when I decided to check on things.  found a warm hub.  Looked closer and the lug nuts were loose!  We had to jack it up and tighten them.  Then we snugged down the rest of them and added air to the tires!  Eating subway now the boat is trailering good.  Taking our time.  Pics to follow!  We had fun today Scott!

Damn, I hate when break time interrupts things!!

Good of you Wing to be dilligent.  Continue that practice all the way home, about every 100 miles or so.  And keep those mirrors trained on those wheels.

Get a good nights rest and take your time.  And I WILL have to be the first to state this inanity...

Oh come on...four brand-new tires and bearings....installed by them yesterday?...that sucks. We had a terrific day...but the continual thorn the whole day was dealing with that trailer....from start to finish. Oh, rest assured...gonna be some thumping going on with the whole passel of them.

Glad you guys made good time, and are settled in safely tonight. I had fun today too :thumright: ...It was great to meet you Bruce, and great meeting Ed as well. Have a safe trip home in the morning.

It is recommended to check the lugs after 50 miles then 100 after that when the wheels were broken loose, I've always done that and had a few alittle loose but not all them

Just north of the GA line now.  Just checked again...  now a buddy bearing is friggin gone!  On top of that the trailer has ez lube axles!  What idiot puts buddy bearings on those?  Luckily I had a cap in the tool box.

On the road again.  Got some zzzzs in the super duty hotel last night.  :-)   (rest stop)  I'm riding shotgun now so I can make up dates.  I found a fuel flow guage on the boat!   :thumleft:
