We'll figured out my tank box/location everything cut and fitted now time to glass and get glassed to the hull.  Then I think other than some foam and bilge paint the inside will finally be done then onto the floor

Not a lot of progress but figured I'd share

did manage to pour foam on one side sanding down smooth.  All glass work is finished under the floor (pretty sure)  going to coat tank compartment and whole length of bilge with interlux interprotect 2000 thanks to the advice on here.  And also via advice from you guys will not be foaming in the tank.

A piece of advice.  While you have access to those rigging tubes, drill some drain holes in them.  Trust me, they are going to fill with water, no matter how much you think you have the ends protected.

Now if this has already been done because I was too lazy to read back through this thread...never mind...

Good advice was a question I was going to ask you guys about that.  And will deffinatly do that.  You think just a few 1/4" size holes on each should be enough.

On the bottom of the pipes.  1 every 3' or so.  Trust me, I've re-wired re-builds where this wasn't done, no effin way you can get the water out of those tubes.  I would suggest a 1/2" or so hole all the way aft as well, just before the rigging tube makes it's upward turn...

everything coated down the middle. 4 coats of interlux  interprotect 2000.  next on to the fuel tank and running all fuel lines then start cutting panels for the floor.  starting to get excited.

Just have 1 question, how come you don't want to use the outer stringer open area for storage for fenders, ropes, and misc stuff that can get wet? You can put hatches in your deck when you build it and it wouldn't be much work?  I am just curious.

I went back and fourth on outter storage a few times.  The boat is shallow on the outside so would have been minimal storage and would had to come up with some form of drainage for those compartments.  Would have been easily done I'm sure.

Got it  , I have the exact same boat for my daughter to redo when I get mine done. (Unless I can get her outside to help and work on her own  )

Ya I'm sure by the time it's done I will have a list of things I would have done differently.  Or things I wish I would have done that I didn't even think about.  And I'm almost possitove there's a 222 in my future.  In time though.  I started this boat when I was 23 and now almost 3 years later I can kinda of see the end I know it's not as close as I want it to be but it will be all worth it in the end.

Little bit of progress.  Fuel tank is being built should be done first week of August.  Going to be 55 gallons.  Plenty fuel I think.  Did get all my floor panels cut and fitted pretty cool to see what some what looks like a floor to the boat.  Anyways here is a couple pictures.
