Newbie from Vero Beach

New to the site and Aquasports.  I am looking to buy a 175 and have looked at a few and like the finish and features.  Have yet to sea trial one though.  Any known problems I should be looking for?

Look for a soft floor behind the console.  Check the transom to see if it is soft ( a 175 may be a poured transom so no worries there)  Check out the engine for excessive corrosion, weak compression, and leaking lower unit lube.  If these things look ok and the trailer works it could be a sounds buy.  Post a pic of what you are looking at buying and any info on it.

She's a great little boat!  What AK said as far as what to look for.  And welcome to the Aquasport family!  We enjoy ourselves here, a breath of fresh air from some other places us boat people frequent...
