Nice boat! That's sorta how I want mine. What trolling motor do you have, where are the batteries, and how well does it work?

It's a Motorguide with 52lb. thrust, 24v, batteries located port side, side by side in console just behind console door. Has ONOFF battery switch and battery charger mounted on port side consloe just above batteries. Charger 110 plug mounted on port outside of console about 3" from deck w/weatherproof cap. Note, shaft is longer than orig. so I don't have to bend as much. Would like to have higher thrust for WINDY DAYS. LOVE IT. :salut:

Take a look at the overhead pic's of the boat already posted. You will see a 40 gal. live/baitwell behind the leaning post. It came with no water inlets or or outlets of any kind. I installed two 1 1/2" discharge fittings towards the top of the tank. Port & Starboard. (you can see the one on starboard side rear) I placed them as low as possible for the best drainage. I then run a hose that fits over the fitting ends from both outlets to the transom where they drain overboard (each hose lay's on the transom on each side of the engine. Would liked the fitting lower on the tank but then would not get the proper drainage. As it is, water fills almost to the top of the tanks and sloshes out onto the deck. While running I do not ose scupper plugs, only when sitting still. Hoses are removed when not in use. I also installed a 3/4" drain fitting w/cap as close to the bottom of the tank as possible to drain the water out. Cap kept on when using tank. On bottom of tank I cut two holes about six inches apart and installed a bilge pump fitting on each to run hoses from the tank thru two holes cut in deck to two pumps in hull which are connected to to two thru hull gate valves. Make sure the holes cut into deck are sealed around the coring so water does not seep into it. Hope this helps. :salut:  :salut:
