Been wondering that, too - there's definitely more than 7 out there! The list so far (w/info provided) covers 3 models from 1978-1989:kaptainkoz 1978 200 CCP ASPP0160M78Fallen456 1979 200 CCP ASPP0226M79AGoneFission 1980 22-2 CCP ASPA0345M80Ijdupree 1981 200 CCP ASPP0590M81DCapt. Bob 1984 222 CCP ASPA0492M84EHardwater 1986 222 CCP ASPA05951586DOCREED 1989 250 CCP (none listed)charliemyjak 1981 200 ccp ASSPP0663M81HFrom the examples so far, the CCPs are wearing the years very well <!-- s:D --><!-- s:D --> . Four of the seven listed were built between 1978 and 1981 - hulls in use for 28-31 years (barely 'teenagers' compared to the earlier flats fishing hulls - but still good) <!-- s:!: -->:!:<!-- s:!: --> .Those listed include 2 with transom brackets (DOCREED and Capt. Bob - one OEM and one aftermarket?) and 3 representing color gelcoat options (jdupree - Tahitian Tan; DOCREED and Capt. Bob - Pearl Grey) - none so far in the Nightwatch Blue. Nightwatch Blue and Pearl Grey - along with Ivory Mist - were the color names in use by AS in the 1980 brochure. I didn't find the Tahitian Tan referenced in the brochures on the site (doesn't mean it isn't, I just didn't find it) but I have seen it referenced on other posts here - and I can see why it's grown on you, j. Not sure whether the Aquasport color names remained the same through the CCP production years.Models to date are the 200, 22-2/222 and 250 - no 246 (or others?) yet.Current locations generally reflect the company's primary areas of distribution at the time - from the Gulf Cost to the Northeast to the Great LakesOne quirk in the Hull ID #s. allen456's 1979 200 CCP and jdupree's 1981 200 CCP had Hull IDs that began with the manufacturer code of 'ASPP'. GoneFission's 1980 22-2 CCP, built in the year between, shows a manufacturer code of 'ASPA'.Alright, time for the rest of you CCP owners to step up <!-- s:D --><!-- s:D --> - let's get this list goin'. Year, actual model name, Hull ID #, a couple/few photos and any historical info on the CCPs in general or your specific hull.
Hey guys,Can anyone of you, that owns a 246 CCP with a coffin box, be so nice as to give me the coffin dimensions? Length, width and height? Could you also tell me the distance betwee coffin box and gunnels (at front point and back)? Please, it's only 5 measurements, I am thinking of a design/use change for the coffing box. Thanks for your help in advance
