bottom paint color for 20' CCP

Just wanted to get some opinions. The 1982 20' CCP that I am looking at buying has bottom paint. As you well know, some of the early 80's Aquasports (and the one I am looking to buy) have the brown/beige hull. Just wanted to get some opinions on what color bottom paint would look good on that hull. It currently has the blue anti-foul paint on it. The boat will be trailered and not left in the water. I can get about any color that I need. I have found a good industrial paint that I had on my 170 that does really well.
Based on the brochures that I have seen from that era, the beige/brown hull had a black stripe for the waterline and a smaller red trim stripe above that. It looked like to me that below the waterline was white with no paint, but I guess that is out since it is painted. I plan to order new decals and make the hull look as original as I can other than the bottom paint.
I know black would be the most logical choice, but just wanted some opinions from you guys. Thanks :)

I know black would be the most logical choice, but I was also toying with something like a dark red or maroon like Rickk has on his 170. You don't have but so many choices with the beige hull but just wanted to see what everyone thought
