Anyone in Connecticut area might help a new member out
« on: February 24, 2017, 08:46:47 PM »
I've found a 222 in Connecticut and believe it to be a flatty, seller responded late 60's early 70's but wouldn't take the time for more pics or to check for HIN. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone in the area would have a chance to check it out for me? I'm more than willing to make the 18hr trip if I had just an little more info.

One of my old deckhands is in Jersey but he's ducked out on me this week after I inquired with him, can't blame him it's a 3 hour trip from his home even though I offered to pay him and hired on the net and flew him from Jersey to Costa Rica thenon a 4,600NM crossing to Hawaii 2 days later, never mind all makes since why he's ducking me now  :acclaim01:

If it's a FB (or anything prior to '72) it won't have a HIN.  The early Aquasports had a tag on the inside with a hull #.

Thanks for that RickK exactly what I was wondering as I've seen hints of such as well as HIN on the left etc, etc.

Where in CT?  I may be able to get out there weekend of the 11th/18th if it's in western part of the state.

Thank you CT my old deckhand finally got him straightened out. Looks like he's going to get up there from Jersey for me next week. Thank you for the offer, if I can ever reciprocate just holler.
