Kiwigrip - application pictures - and youtube video
« on: April 07, 2015, 01:51:05 PM »
This morning I helped a customer put some Kiwigrip down.

Came out super sharp   :coolth:

BTW, the guy built this boat himself, one man ..... he is not even a boat builder by trade.

Also took some video to make a new tutorial

Looks great.  Any shots of the whole boat?  Looks sweet, especially with the wood.  Did he build the whole boat from scratch?  Or is it a rebuild?

Very nice :great02:
What is your experience with the durability and ease of cleaning of the product?  We've had members put it on but not really comment good or bad about it later.

its very hard and I never had any issues cleaning it, even when it was stained with berries out of the trees  :?  I used bleach many times on it.  It is also extremely easy to repair - open can dip in foam brush, dab on spot, done.

Hi Aaron,

A gallon covers 80 square feet at the same texture you see in these pictures.  If you go for a more extreme texture, you use more material, but I would not recommend any more texture that this !

I used one gallon on my flatback aquasport.  I use just over one gallon on the seacraft.

I used Kiwigrip on the deck of my 222 CCP.  You will be pleased with it.  A gallon should be more than enough.
