A few of us thought that this is a great time of the year to go hang out in our boats for a few days at Bunces pass in SW St Pete and we'll be anchoring on the north edge of Ft Desoto by the western most southern marker. Look for the Explorers and Ospreys barged up and stop by and have a beer with us. We look forward to meeting you. We'll have BBQs on board if you want to Q something up for lunch with us.
Update:
The dates are on the calendar but for those who didn't see the calendar, the camp out is scheduled for 24-26Apr.

You may want to include a date Rick.....and have fun. Make sure you have some video rolling if you, Dave, and CB plan on having an adventure like last year

Ha!! I know I've made some purchases of safety equipment since that last outing - hopefully the incident will never be repeated and I won't need the equipment.
I updated the original post - thanks Craig.

Looks like I'll be out of N.C. By this weekend and can join in on the fun. Wasn't sure how long this job would last. Anxious for some sunshine and salty air!

We're getting close - only 2 Fridays away now
Everyone dust off your calendars and see if you're free on the 25th.

For launching info - Ft Desoto has a wonder set of ramps - maybe the largest ramp area I've ever seen.
We'll be camping and chilling west of the ramp about a mile along the northern side of Ft Desoto park in the pass. There is a lagoon and sand bar right behind where we'll be so that will allow wading, etc. If you look along the north side of of the park(south side of the pass) right under all the writing, you see a lagoon and some green outline - that's where we'll be.
