No Dock Space? Watch out.

One way to get quick attention at the Tiki-Bar, thankfully no one was hurt, this is down in our central Fl guys area, Bob.. you might be getting a call for some repairs  :bangbang2:

How does this happen with a boat as well equipped as this one? And they are reporting that alcohol was not involved. That would have been the only plausible explanation for a high end SeaVee with quads, radar and no doubt all the navigational goodies getting into trouble like this.

I guess they were not following the "observer on the bow when in times of poor visibility" guideline - poor guy would have been thrown out of the boat.

Classic case of a guy with more dollars than sense...  As mentioned he has all the gear required to run the boat safely in the fog.... Chartplotters with a radar overlay but clearly he has no idea how to use it.... also even with all of that gear running 30-40 mph in the fog is downright reckless...

My guess is this is some fat cats kid that sprung some major dollars to put the idiot in business. Complete lack of responsibilty for the safety of his crew. This coupled with other violations spells looser. Yanking his Captains license is a good starting point, the lawsuit from the resturant should put him in his place.
