Posted some pics in my gallery, not to pretty but a great running, solid 34 year old boat. That pulled in a couple of nice bass yesterday!

Very nice. All original gauges & panel. Only "new" item I see is the outdrive. Next time you're out, see if you can have someone on another boat get some pictures of her at speed.
Again, congrats on the rare find!

Thanks
I know it was repowered in Late 80's used a few times and parked. I got in 01 from the oringinal owner, the weeds and trees growing in it where only a couple of feet high, After rebuilding the top end of the motor and outdrive and replacing everything else. Never thought there was this kind of following. Now with all the great Aquasports on this site I'll have to get to cleaning here up.

Dont worry about the housekeeping. The important thing is that she's got an owner who appreciates what she is.
My I/O is the 24' side console version. Rebuild progress is in the "Rebuilds" forum. These are good boats built to put in long days fishing and enjoying the water.
Speaking of my rebuild, I'd really liked to see some pictures of your engine installation and whatever features you think might be interesting. I have a brand new 3.8 MPI which will be installed over this coming winter. Any tips or things to watch out for are most welcome.
Have a great 4th!

Welcome aboard John.
Nice looking boat - I've never seen an i/o 19.6 around here, so I'd say you have rare find. She appears to be in fine shape too.
One question, was the bottom paint on the boat when you got her? Wondering if she really sits that low in the water or if someone got carried away?

Your right it was painted when I got it, wish it wasn't. But I have repainted over what was there. The stern is close but the bow is higher than it has to be. What can't see is the dolphin and charlie tuna the orginal owner painted on the bow. That had to go. I have a picture of it in the water I'll post when I find it.
