Great idea! The extra space looks well worth the loss of the well.. What happened to the fuel bulb?

Hey dburr,

The well is still there. Bait bell that is but maybe you were talking about the splash well.  The squeeze bulb was just removed for gelcoating.

Last couple of pictures for awhile.  Splash gate up and bolted in place.  This will be the position in rough or following seas but it will normally be down. We cut grooves in the board rather than non skidding it.  The protective paper is still on the board.



This is the normal position for the gate to allow access to the swim platform.  Sorry, I know it's dirty.  You'll just have to look past that.

Terrific job on the wave gate.

Quality design and fab, full length stainless piano hinge, locking at the top, port and starboard.

All of the benefits of a closed transom....without the weight and aft accessibility issues.

And best of all....shows options other than the status quo
