170 Capacity Plate Information
« on: April 14, 2022, 07:06:40 AM »
Hi,

I recently purchased a 1973 Aquasport 170 and the previous owner had painted over the CG Capacity plate (Weight, Number of Passengers, and Max HP).  I am wondering if anyone has this same model and if they could provide this info so I may order a replacement plate.

Thank You

This capacity plate is pictured in the gallery under classic 170.  Not sure what the rated HP is…likely 90hp, but can definitely hold 115/130.

What year are you talking about? I think in the early 1970s show a max hp rating of 85hp but after the manufacturer of the 135hp, it was increased to 130hp. See below

From 1975

A quick google search for me yielded this plate. Manufacture location of Hialeah is correct and matches the 130hp rating but might need to cross reference the weight rating but find it to be accurate.

Hope that helps
