 Yes. A plywood transom made of (2) pieces of 3/4 marine plywood. The deck will be 5/8 marine plywood I think.

OK, cool. I used Seacast, but if I had known the amount of work involved in getting the wood out of the transom, I would have gone plywood too.
Sealed correctly it will last you a long time.

Made a pattern for the transom replacement but I am questioning if I should raise it to 25". Is it hard to find a 25" 90hp outboard? I don't have a motor yet to put on it. I like the 25" but what do you guys think??
