Those R8 are some bad mofos.  I was taking a sight-seeing cruise (read that lost) in the UK and was out in the country going down a set of hills and I got to a real hairpin and 1) I didn't see this car coming up behind me, 2) he passed me right on the hairpin, and 3) I didn't catch much sight of him after that.  Just a poof.
I did find my way to my hotel using GPS though.  There were two hotels with the same name and yup, I chose the wrong one - 50 miles the wrong way    Hey, got lots of practice though

Worst police car ever - probably the Mobile Police with their Yugo - "the Fuzzette" - perps would probably just laugh at you in this thing - and you can't catch them if your car won't even start:
