We just had two HELLACIOUS storms, first at 6:30, second at 8:00, looks like we may be in for more later...

Bob, looks like you're still getting slammed.

How much rain have you guys had?

Looking at the radar they have another one coming down too. We are finally getting some rain now, .3 inch so far and more out to the east.

Last 2 days?  About 8"...and we needed it!  But no fear of flooding at our place.  The view DOWN our road to the west.  About a 15-20 foot drop...

Combined with the 10 foot or greater drop from our neighbor to the east?  We won't flood, it all just passes through... :thumleft:  :thumleft:

Bob, thanks for the response on the rain total. I've been watching you radar for two days.

That one lower, independent red strip on the radar... stayed camped out over you guys for two days.

Great to get the rain, but know it messed you up regarding work.

WT hay...rain is good. Gonna hit us in the morning. And funny...it started here 5 days back. What a strange system, especially this time of the year.

Slowly but surely, going NE up the coast:

Exits the Outer Banks heading E/NE, predicted to be a short-lived TS once more

BIG full moon.

Just walked the dog. The moon is very  bright... like daytime. Check it out if it is clear where you are.

Military likes it. War games tonight out over the Atlantic. Must be twenty aircraft of all types buzzing. Marine helos and jets from MCAS New River. AWAC's and F-16's, F-15's from Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro.

Real deal. Like the Blue Angels from Pensacola...times five

Those Chinese infiltrators better add some life insurance.

Another one of those days....started raining HARD at 11:15 this morn.  When it lets up, it's a REAL hard drizzle. Still raining, and looks likes it's gonna be an all nighter.  Know we have gotten 4"+ so far...http://www.baynews9.com/weather/klystron9.html

They couldn't get offshore in the heavy wind. The Atlanta Fishing Club's  30  footers and plus went offshore, and got beat-up in reported five to sevens.

The offshore rides caught a few  hognose snapper, bigggun's from the pics.

Lew stayed inshore....then the starter on his Ocean Pro crapped out. They were having it replaced this afternoon, per last report.

Lew will be in the Panhandle for a while, so hopefully he'll be visiting.

Sounds good Scott, thanks for the update, we'll definitely get together tomorrow if for nothing more than a few cold ones
