Running shallow?

which model/year is best to rebuild into a flats/bay boat with a tower?
one that i can run shallow but still cut through 3 footer!

The word you used that should be emphasized is "through" - the only AS boat that will push through a wave more than go over it and still fish skinny is the Flatback model.

If you want to run crazy shallow then get a flatback with a porta bracket

If you want to run insane shallow, get a flatback and put a jet outboard on it.    :thumleft:

The only problem would be you would have to fiberglass a keel from a Shamrock on her to be able to steer it in following sea! I bet running winding creeks in a flattie with a 200 jet at 30 mph would be a blast! The thing would look like an old Harley flatracker going around a turn!
