Nice looking rig, you can tell it has been taken care of.  The 112 SPCL like all of the smaller V4's is a very reliable and pretty efficient engine.  The motor probably did not come with VRO, I think the SPL designation on OMC motors was for different horsepower and emissions rating for international sales, that 112 should be a very basic and easy engine to keep maintained.   For pricing.... That is very speculative, being based somewhat on your geographical area and the boat market?  Personally I break the rig down by trailer, engine and boat to try and get a better feel for where the price should be.  So, just assuming all items are in above average condition?
Trailer.... $800
Engine....$1500
Boat.....$2500 to $3000 depending on accessories and stuff coming with the sale.

So probably somewhere in the mid 5K range, again, please remember this is just my very basic way of getting to a starting point in my head, and as many have said before, a used boat is only worth what someone will pay for it.  And make sure you have the boat and engine checked over completely, wiring, pumps, accessories, engine compression and any fuel issues.  Plan a long sea trial, run that rig around for at least an hour, WOT, low speed trolling, mid range etc...  Good luck

looks identical to my boat (minus t-top) when i bought it!!!

mine has a wood transom, so yours will too.

mine originally had the 112, great motor, very reliable, not bad on gas, very basic, cruised 25 mph and 37-39 mph wide open. wanted to go faster so i swapped out to a 200hp.

fuel capacity seems to be different between years, ive pumped my tank bone dry and have only been able to put 47 gallons plus a gallon of 2-cycle so im guessing 50 gallons would be closer

mine has a poly tank.

heres a before and after of my '96

That's amazing - are you sure you have wood in the whole transom?  My '93 was made in the same place as your '96 and my transom is poured up to the top where the engine mounts.  From there, on the sides, it is wood though.  I found that out because where the corner lifting eyes are, rotted out on one side and needed to be replaced on one side but the transom was solid as a rock (it is a rock).

Rick, Aaron,
175s (170s as well, before the "size" change) and 200s were built on the same line, sort of a "lesser" tier AS than say, the 225s and 245s at that time (your 230 as well, Rick)...

That being said, some builders will do things a certain way up to a particular model.  Usually a "price point" sort of thing.  Get above that model, and things are done differently...

Case in point.  At Proline, 23 and under got poly fuel tanks.  Above that?  Aluminum.  Price point, that's all it was...

Corner of 520 and A1A...
