I'm pretty sure pull is fwd also.Aswaff, the motor is super clean, but as importantly, look at the condition of the Teleflex cylinder...you don't see 20 year old ones looking like that too often! Excellent pick up!Just keep an eye on that cylinder ram for any scratches or nicks...I'm sure you know this already, but...

Excellent pick up!Just keep an eye on that cylinder ram for any scratches or nicks...I'm sure you know this already, but... no scratches on it, said one of the seals has a very very slight leak that developed over the past 2 months, gave me a seal kit for it... like i said, this guy was very anal about the boat/motor.
Your not planning on taking it out for a shake down run on the 4th weekend are you? I call the holidays amateur weekends. That's where all the idiots with more dollars than sense head out on the water. The can't get the boat backed down the ramp... they have no idea of the rules of the water.. The marine patrol, police, CG and everyone else is out too. No thanks I'll stay home! :P
haha hell no i wont be on the water during the weekend, i have to work but i still deal with every one of them at my work... (i work in a high & dry marina). let me just say every new customer we signed up this past 2 weeks, have never owned a boat, and never operated a boat, in their life ... every time i operate customers 35+ foot triple o/b boats, i blow their mind away at how i maneuver the boats in such tight spaces and make it look easy 8)
Boat operator laws in NC:http://www.boat-ed.com/nc/course/p4-3_whomayoperate.htmYou guys have anything similar?
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988, who operates a vessel powered by 10 horsepower or more must pass an approved boater safety course and have in his/her possession photographic identification and a boater safety identification card issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. A person is exempt from this requirement if there is a person on board who is not affected by this law or is at least 18 years of age and holds a boater education I.D. card. This person must be attendant to and take responsibility for the safe operation of the vessel and for any violation that occurs during the operation. You must be at least 14 years of age to operate a PWC.Anyone who is convicted of a criminal boating violation, any boating infraction resulting in a reportable boating accident, or two non-criminal boating safety violations within a 12-month period must attend and successfully complete an approved boating safety course and file proof with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The violator’s privilege to operate a vessel in the state will be suspended until proof of course completion is filed.
