...and after all that work to thru-bolt her in there!  Mark, you may not realize, but I installed that valve!  And now it sits, rotting, corroding, and broken, on a bench top...OK, I'm over it!  It's a Bosworth valve, you can still get them at Worst Marine, but Circle Hooked had good luck at Marine Surplus down here...I think.  What part broke?

I was at worst marine today in South Jersey and they said they have nothing like it,but I did see it on there site.Bob,it was just corroded so bad that we couldn't even budge it.My son drilled the screw off the handle but the corrosion was so bad I still can't get it out of the face plate.Everything was plastic except for the handle. Thanks for the info.Circled Hook thanks also.

Bob,

Do you know what size the valve was.As you see in pics the hose ends are probably glued in.What size in the female part on the valve? Is it standard on the Aqua's.

Mark you have a 3/4 inch model, and thats the size of the ends,if you look hard the end should have 3/4" stamped on them.

Mark,
Funny you should say that, I was going to tell you the handle is removable...in fact I used to have to disassemble that valve to t/bolt it to the inside of the tackle storage center.

The barbs are 3/4" thread with 3/4" barbs for the hoses.  Simply screwed in with a bit of pipe dope on the threads.  Since the valve is toast, put it in a vise, and you should be able to remove them and use them on the new one...

Scott, your right, a lot of livewell/washdown issues showing up...also fuel senders and electrical issues.  I think it's just the spring time up north, people using their boats again, karma, and nobody's got the bucks to replace their 10-12 year old boat with a new one...

All the ones I see on the internet show no threads, just smooth inside like a glue joint.
