I hate grease !!

I know this thread is 2 months old but I have to ask........If you hate grease as much as you say, why havn't you changed to oilbath lubrication for your bearings?  I tore down my trailer 3 years ago and when I received my new Kodiak brake and wheel kits they sent these oilbath hubs and bearings.

At first, I was skeptical but I went ahead and installed them and have been very pleased ever since.  The have not leaked any of the 90wt oil I put in and have performed very well in my totally salt water environment.  Best part?  No more messing with the gun or the grease from hell!

Next time you change bearings, ditch the grease and find some oilbath bearings.  You won't even need to change hubs.

You know my Rolls trailer originally came equipped with oil bath hubs.  For some reason the PO changed them over to grease.  I may look into switching them back over.  I'll have to see what Rolls says.

BTW I got into a new jar of Fluff the other day...  yup that stuff can travel on it's own!

What I want to know is how the dadblag stuff gets on the upper side of your elbow??
