the 2 back seats that insert beside the live-well have been misplaced or stolen anyone know where I can get a couple made or bought

I don't know where to find replacements, but if you would like, I can trace mine and send you a template and send pictures. The bases of the seats are starboard. The hardest part will be the cushions. And I am assuming the seats remained the same from your 1999 to my 2002.

Here are some pictures of my rear port seat and the back cushion. The starboard side is just a mirror image. The base is 3/4" starboard. I didn't take any pics of the boat itself - I assume you have the same configuration and mounting hardware. Let me know if you need pics of the boat. I should have the template in the mail today. Craig, do you think that the templates are something that can be scanned and uploaded here for future use?

Hmmm, it will be too big to run through my scanner, but I'll see if can figure some way to do it. May just be a dimensioned drawing. But I'll put something on here.

Didn't put a template on here, as it wouldn't be of much use unless it was printed exactly to scale. May get around to just adding a dimensioned sketch, if that would be of use to anyone.
Anyway, the OP asked for pictures of the mounting hardware and any manufacturer's info. Here are a couple pics. They are made by Perko, and have "Fig. 769" on the handle. I'm posting here in case anyone else is looking for this info.

Thanks for posting that Craig and what does that connect to? Do these seats fold up out of the way?

There is a "u" shaped piece that attaches to the boat. The latch fits in the "u" and rotating the black lever 90 degrees lockers it in. The are two of these on each seat, one on each end. That's the only thing holding the seats in place. They don't fold up. It's either installed or removed. I usually leave mine out unless the boss wants more comfort.

Does anyone know where to locate the replaceable fiberglass grooves, holding the removeable back seats, that are screwed to the hull?

I am looking for the same piece my friend, so far i found a similar one that would require additional cutting which I don't want to do. If anyone out there knows where I can find this "replaceable fiberglass groove" let me know. Thanks!!

I have a 205 that is at pre purchase inspection that didn't come with back seats. I am wondering if you ever thought of using some other type of seat in the same location like a wise jump seat with a milk crate shaped base, or a folding style deck seat. Trying to come up with some options that may work for when we do the family boat rides a few times a year.
I am sure it wouldn't be too hard to build a L bracket or just a 2x2 out of starboard that could be screwed to outside location where the normal slot is then make a base like the factory ones you guys are talking about. At that point you could mount any of the after market seats to the base for less than having the pads made.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, since most of the used boats even with the jump seats need them rebuilt at this point.

Do you still have this boat? I could really use some templates made out of your seats so that I can fab some up for mine.

Would you still have this boat that you could do a couple cardboard templates for the back seats? It could be a huge help for me to fab some up for mine.
