For the short time that we are out there (5-6 hours), I think I would launch at 10th ST.

Hard to tell - last year we camped off Lido park and then headed back to the outboard club, ate, showered and headed north.  Beauty of these boats is we can camp almost anywhere.

I am all game for the meet up :D, just have to let me know two weeks out because i have been working on saturday here and there :( . Another thing is i am not familiar with the waterway up by longboat key area and haven't bought a GPS or Chartplotter yet (have been looking), so might need some help where we meeting. just keep me posted :D

Looks like it will be May 15th at Beer Can Island  - just west of the Longboat pass bridge on the south shore, probably a little around the gulf side.
