Re-fiberglass sing the inside of the front deck hatches
« on: June 13, 2015, 06:52:04 AM »
I need to re-glass the insides of the two front deck hatches on the 1971 19.1 I just bought.  This will be my first fiberglass job, so I'm looking for some help...  What is the process?  I'm assuming I need to clean out all of the old resin an wood, sand, and clean.  What would be the best epoxy and fiberglass to use?  Should I put marine plywood back or is there another material that would be stronger or better suited for the job?   Also what's the process of laying up the glass?  Thanks for the help!
