Live Well Pump
« on: November 14, 2012, 01:05:39 PM »
I suspect this has been addressed before, but as a relatively new member, I just have a quick question.  I have a 2002 Aquasport Osprey 175 that needs a live well pump.  I bought the boat new.  The pump had been removed, so I don't know what make/model was there before.  For those who have the same size of boat as mine, what make/model live well pump are you using?  Thanks.

How about this? Hard to see on my laptop. Noticed you were a part of this thread awhile back.

Here's that thread.

Looks like a Shurflo to me but I'm legally blind when I drink. 8)

Edit: I tried to blow it up on my laptop but I still can't make out the actual model.

CB,
You ain't drunk enough yet!     That is definitely an older model Shur-Flo.  I'd install a Shur-Flo Pro Blaster 4.0, can be used a both a washdown and a livewell pump.  We used this pump on the smaller models at Proline that only got one pump (price point boats) to perform both duties...

Corner of 520 and A1A...

It's now 5:04PM so I'm on my way to experience life (in a small way) like Ray Charles did. 8)

SB, is that location in the photo a factory install? Not a lot of areas in the 175 to place the pump. If so, I'd bet there are a few late model EX and Osprey big boy owners wishin' it was that easy to get at on theirs.
