New Boat Cover
« on: October 27, 2012, 03:03:28 PM »
I needed a boat cover to keep leaves out of the boat. Was quoted $780.00 for a custom cover. Bought this one online for about $150.00. I think it will be ok for what I need. Suppose to be 600 denier fabric.

Bruce I ordered it though Amazon.com, but it was shipped from a company named Wayfair. It is the size "F" cover.  I just checked and I paid $144.80 for it w/free shipping. It was listed the first time I checked at $158.00, a few hours later it was $144.80 so I ordered it. The next day they were back up to $158.00. If you need one check the price a few times over a day or so. I guess they are not in stone.

The "F" size cover is a tight fit on my 215DC and probably would not fit a longer boat unless it had no bow pulpit.

Thanks for the info!  I am hoping I might find something non-custom that would fit over my Osprey below the T-Top.  I will check it out.

I have a 1997 215 DC and Im looking for a cover.  You mentioned that the F size was a tight fit.  If you had to do it over, would you go bigger or with the same?

Your 1997 is the same as mine. I would buy the "F" cover. You want it to fit tight. I think it was a perfect fit for a 215DC.  If you check Amazon look at it a couple times over a day or two as the prices change. I paid $144.80 for mine w/free shipping.

I don't think this company makes a larger one.

If you find something please post it up.
I would also like a cover for my Osprey with T-Top.
