Really good CS from Seasense!
« on: October 20, 2012, 05:05:04 AM »
When I bought the 222 the trailer had a taller black foldaway jack on the tongue. The PO had gotten it a few years before as he had a F-150 that had 6 inch body lift and 38 X 1050s. It has worked really nice since then until someone who shall go nameless tried to help me when we were in Southport.
Well when this occurred the dang D shaped lock broke (through no fault of his!) so when you would try to put it back into the swivel it fell out. Of course I told him don't worry about it it was just its time to break!. "I'll put a bungee on it before we leave" so it wouldn't fall down. Well dumazz me forgot and we got all the way to Myrtle Beach when I stopped and checked and the D ring was gone! Tuesday I called Seasense to see if they had replacement rings and springs and was suprised that the dang thing was not repairable!

But...... Their guy on the phone didn't even blink and said if I could email him some pics they would warranty it at no cost to me! It got here today and its even the improved newer version with the wider single wheel! I don't even know how long the old one has been on the trailer.

Unbelievable that there are still companies out there that actually stand behind their stuff with just about no questions asked!

Thank you! Thank you!!!!!!

I guess all this Bootcamp and weight lifting is to blame for tearing the solid steel release lever out of your trailer..  glad they sent a new one to you Lew, and I hope you had a safe remainder of the trip last night from Nofuk Virginia, I made it in from the smoker by midnight
