The plant does extend back north quite a ways I guess.  Picked me up a OMC trim gauge at marine surplus.  Now I can replace the merc one someone put in my 245 so the trim indicates the right way!

Yes Bruce, Merc and OMC trim gauges work opposite of each other when installed with the wrong motor.  The Teleflex P/N differs by one # in the last digit, so it is a common mistake...

Here is what the new Plant 1 looks like - laying asphalt around the new buildings - they left the original steel framework on the inside and added new outsides

Oh, and the "white house" is now occupied by Medallion Homes - it's their HQ.

Rick, plant 1 looks like a newly refurbished, clean...plant 1.  What's going in there?

That second pic, 3rd garage door in on the building on the right, I drove a big ole Ryder rental in there loaded with all our toolboxes and stuff when they moved the big Osprey line down there...

God I hated that place...

They are just wide open humongous empty buildings right now ready to begin their new life after the elections.

There is a huge article in the new issue of Pro boat builder this month about what is going on at the old plant location.

Yes.
I get the printed version. I believe they're bi-monthly.

I'll try a scan tomorrow of the plant portion. Not sure that it will come out the best but it won't hurt to try.

Well you can lead a horse to water......................

Still, this turned out to be a great read. I would not be so cavalier as to claim I understand every aspect but there is still plenty of info that I find fascinating and a fair number of ideas nestled within that can be used on boats like ours.

Well worth the effort to get and hell, you can't beat the price.
