Well my friend's old pro line finally bit the dust, and we were debating on rebuilding that, or finding another boat. Happened upon this one over on pine island which was on here awhile ago. A bunch of cash and gutted hull and trailer brought it over here. Plans are to definitely add a lower station with spots for electronics and helm/controls, and modify the box under the tower to hold ice in the front. My job over the weekend was to remount the paralift bracket lower to accomodate the short shaft suzuki he has.

old proline:





"new" 71 222





over-drilling the new holes and beveling out for glass on all holes



filled completely with epoxy/cabosil/chopped glass fibers and re-drilled out to 1/2". old holes filled also.



glassed over with biaxial inside and out. outside got a decent fairing(commercial boat) note the resin drip catch pan

Is that a tunnel down the centerline of the hull bottom? Never seen that on an Aqua...

yes the guy who did the rebuild put the tunnel in. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2599&start=45
havent ran the boat yet to see how it performs though. this weekend hopefully...
