How skinny ?
« on: September 21, 2012, 12:37:01 AM »
Any Idea of the Draft for 19.7 and 20 ft Aquasport I know the 175 is around 10 in. I like the Idea of the 170 or 175 as I like to fish for Reds and Trout in pretty skinny water. I however like the room of the larger 19.7 or the 200. Thanks

The 170 had a draft of 8" - the 196 and 222 were 9" - I'm not sure you would notice the difference.

I would say my 170 drafts around 8" empty.  But I bet it drafts more with the same load of people since it has less length to displace the water.  Just food for thought.  What is more important, empty draft or loaded draft while fishing?

i can float my boat in anywhere from 9 to 12 inches depending how much fuel, gear, and how full the livewell was.
