Aqua Catalogs
« on: August 28, 2012, 09:34:08 PM »
For the two members   that visit the Photo Gallery, we have posted a couple/four old catalogs. The newer 04/05 catalogs/calendar are fairly easy to read when viewed directly from the Forum gallery. The older 94/95 and soon 97 are a little harder on older eyes but....

You can easily save the page(s) you wish to glean info from to your PC and re-open in a photo editor. This will allow you to enlarge (zoom) the photo and make the "fine/fuzzy" print very readable.

I apologize for the chity scans but a workaround is better than no info at all. :|

That stated, any member that may have any type of Aqua info, be it brochures, ads, catalogs, sales docs, hell anything Aqua related, please share when possible with the Forum. Let the Admins or myself know what you have and they can set up a spot in the Photo Gallery for same.

For many, this kind of stuff has no real meaning but for us old timers it makes for great discussion when someone queries the Forum for info.

Thanks everyone. :thumright:

PS... I'm always happy to confirm details with the documentation I do have so just ask.

Nice job CB :salut:
Not too hard to read the print.  We're working with IT to be able to upload bigger scans of these documents.
Looks like I have a little rearranging to do with some of the older catalogs to get them in the right places.

As CB said, if you need help uploading any catalogs let us know.

I have a 1998 brochure for all models, can have it scanned and sent if you want. What format is best PDF, jpeg, bitmap..?
I also have the owners manual which seems to have  specs for all models.
No date on manual but must be 1998 time period. Part number is 2601-9079. The manual is about 50 pages, i can copy and mail if you like.

Excellent Aaron.
Scan it as .jpeg files if you can and send them to me. If you prefer to scan them as .pdf files, that's fine. I can re-scan to a .jpeg. There should be little loss of quality with this method. Your choice.

My scanned files (.jpeg) ranged from 2-3 megs so e-mail may be difficult. Placing them on some form of media and snail mailing would work. I do know that my engineering firms use a large file transfer on the web but I'm not sure if that is an option. If you choose to mail, PM me for the address. No matter what you choose, we really appreciate any literature you have and will get it up on the site for everyone.

Thanks. :thumright:

If you can scan as a .png file then it can be converted without loss of quality.  They're about the size of .jpg files.

Thanks Aaron and John.

OK,
A to John (Merlinroad) for sharing his 1998 Aqua catalog.
Remember, we are always looking for any Aqua printed material to add to the Forum's current collection. A 1990 and a 1996 catalog would really define Genmar's course through the 90s and answer (or at least open discussion on) some of the thoughts with this product line.

Great stuff everyone and as always.....

Thanks. :thumright:
