Im not sure exactly where Im putting it, I need to feel it out to see where it fits best.

Carl, I will send you as many pictures as you want, I will post a few on here but I don't want to reverse engineer everything Tommy does for all the world to see. He doesn't ask not to, but he is a good guy and really takes the time to help people out, so I don't want to slight him in anyway. Im sure nothing I would post would even effect his business but I will sleep better at night if I don't.

I have your email so I will send you whatever you would like to see, and for any of the other usual suspects on here the same goes for you too ask and you shall receive. As for the random passer buy or googler, they can spend the $$$$ to figure it out themselves.

Hope this doesn't come off the wrong way, I just know how it is to work for a living and try to live by some sort of distorted redneck ethics.  :D

Do you guys know where you are going to mount the livewell?  I mean, how much space between your console and your livewell?  I need to figure out where the plumbing will penetrate the deck so that I can plan accordingly.

Guys, believe the livewell on Miss D was right at 19 inches behind the console. Will reconfirm that measurement over the weekend.

We mocked it up with the console and livewell outside of the boat. Steering wheel was held on top of the console. We went through all types of scenarios; kicked back, left leg up on gunnel, etc. I'm 5'10 with short arms. A taller guy may find it better an inch or so further back. We were lucky on the measurements. Wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks Scotty, I appreciate it!  Man, everytime I see a picture of your boat, I just stare at it for a while.  She sure is beautiful.

Craig, thank you kind sir :salut:

It really was fun to be involved in building a boat. Even better for you guys, you're doing it yourself. In the years to come when folks ask "who did that?" you can say "me!!" :rendeer:

Thank you Ryan. I understand what you are saying, and I won't put any detail pics out there in the public domain.

Scott, I appreciate advice on measurements. I'll reply more on my thread.

I guess I have made up my mind on the rigging tubes. One 3" and one 2.5" tube. Used two 45's to create a longer sweep. I had the room so I figured it would not hurt and makes it easier to get the cables through.

I also finished my front fish box, I used a veneer over some r8 insulation foam for the floor. I could not make the polly foam form to the hull up front and did not want to box it off and loose depth in the box. I was a little hesitant on this process but it turned out really nice and is really solid. The sides are made from polyfoam and hatch will be lined with polyfoam which is R13. I hope it will insulate pretty well. If not I guess I will make room for a Frigid Rigid

anyone have any good links, videos or suggestions on how to cut the shape of the sole properly?  It will be a first for me so I really don't want to start jacking up material at a hundo a sheet if you know what I mean.

There is a method we discussed on a couple of occasions called "story stick." CB dug it up once before, darn if I can find it.

Here's a start, but probably won't link

See if this will work. Airstreams don't have very many straight lines and to make a template this way makes it pretty easy.

Looking good Ryan.  Can't tell from the pics, but did you put any rubber between the tank and everywhere it touches?

yeah my roll of neoprene just came in today so I will cut and glue it this weekend. I left a 1/2 inch of room for the insulation.

btw here is a good site for cheap foam
