They make custom thru hulls. Little touches that you won't find many places.
Tansom cap
Floor glued down
More to come very soon.

Real nice.
I like the side dish charge of the floor drains I might have to think about that for my boat.
Did they make that transom cap or did it come off a salvage boat?
Are you planning on having a livewell in the transom and if so how big?

OK I think Seabob is correct on T-Top primer. Bilge paint is a 2-part epoxy called Devoe.
They did not make transom cap, it came with project when i purchased. (Bob at seaforce said they could make one just like it though!) It was made specifically for this boat and it will have a 25 gallon livewell.
More pics to come and paint should be on sides next week!

I have a question. I noticed that they did not install any gussets from the stringers to the transom. To support the closing in of the transom. Do they feel, that gussets are unnecessary, to support the extra weight and height , that the transom now has and will be carrying? Also I really like what they are doing. And can invision what it is going to look like. You will have a great looking boat when done.

IIRC the transom was closed in when he got it. Probably wouldn't hurt to have the extra support though.

Correct Rick. Since it was and couldn't be glassed into transom, they are going to glass a marine grade 2x6 across the top for strength and the motor peeps are going to make an aluminum plate for mounting which will distribute weight evenly. Bob says its pretty darn strong

Alex,
Looking good and some good progress too.
Do you know if they are going to make your baitwell or use an off the shelf unit. If they make one would you take some pictures of the process they use to make one. That is if you are around to take the pictures they work fast. :)

It came with the boat but you can make one. I've made them before. I just don't have time to work on boats anymore. Find a container like a small garbage can or whatever you think would be perfect. Coat it with mold release. Roll or spray gel coat, I like baby blue and a few coats. When that dries, wrap with several layers of cloth. The thick stuff. Thats it.
