Eugene sent me pics of the tower he has, i like what i saw and i like his price! so we'll see, im gonna swing by his shop on monday to take a better look at it :thumleft:

Another thing I don't like about the AC tower.  The owner had a new box fabbed specifically for a Garmin 5212...



So what happens if he sells the boat to a Furuno or Raymaine guy?  New box again? :roll:  :roll:

Then the formerly Raymarine or Furuno guy starts liking Garmin touchscreens pretty quickly. How does he use that touchscreen with the steering wheel in the way?

Ask the owner, Eugene.  Some people have too much money, not enough brains! Hell, drilling the lower left mounting stud hole with the helm hump in the way...bet nobody thought about that!!!!

I can't deal w/ touchscreens b/c they don't have HOME buttons. That Home button is the only way I can get any damn where on a piece of electronics.

stopped by the shop that made my cover, wont cost me much to have the canvas redone to match my cover... but for now, it will be stored at work till i can decide exactly what i want to do

yeah Eugene has one for me next time i swing by his shop. i forgot to throw the support tubes in the truck for when the tower is folded down. :oops:
