With the forecast tomorrow, I'm betting we'll top 12-13".  Still pouring as I type...

The cover support pole in the rat boat fell down...  it looked like a jacuzzi when I came home!   I had to slide the cover into the boat slowly so i could get it to drain.  I was afraid the trailer tires were gonna pop!
That's a lot of water.   Been there done that, usually at the enpense of another tarp.
I went through more "covers" (tarps) because they were not supported right and we got a gulley washer like we have now and they filled up and the center console went right through them   Now that I have the custom covers I am fine.  The cover for the `70 is a hybrid - the guy made it for the boat under the agreement that I would leave my "contraption" in that "softens" the CC top edge.  Works great.

Unbelievable. Seems like three weeks back, when that low set in, you guys had nine inches.

We have sandy soil like you do. Our sand drains great....to a point. And then, that's it. We had 19 inches in 20 hours with Floyd. Man that was a freak show. Our highways were cut off from the outside world for three days. Up around JD's neck of the woods, an entire town was lost.

Good luck you guys :thumright:

Jim Cantory is in Pensacola, that can't be good... Then we just got in from ft. Pierce drove the entire way up the turnpike and 75,then across I-10, and never turned the wipers off for 9 hours     I was done after rolling in here, dealing with the morons on the road who think the left hand lane is for driving 50 MPH with their flashers on.... So I know the central part of FL is getting hammered, it is crazy, west Pensacola where I am is hanging just on the very edge of the nasty, will come later, JJ you'll get it later probably.  But looks like the main pump is trashing the Tampa area... Now we're just waiting to see where Debbie is going to land... Good luck all

Just when we think it's over, another band fires up and carries some heavy stuff with it.  This weather guy has been talking non-stop for an hour+ about tornadic possiblities all over the central FL area.
Stay safe guys.

Well Bruce, the way it's been going, we should see that band in a 1/2 hour or so...

Marc,
By the time all is said and done, with the forecast tomorrow (90%), I wouldn't be surprised to see us at about 16" or so since Friday...
