Back in the club! 67 Flatback
« on: June 16, 2012, 06:11:08 PM »
Well Im proud to say I am once again an Aquasport owner. This one is a new venture to me, its a 67 flatback. My previous experience was with a 72 semi v project that never got finished. She runs and rides pretty nice, she's gonna need a full resto after gator hunting season. Ill be asking for some thoughts as I start to map out my strategy.

It does have a fold down dive platform on the side that is completly missing, I have some hardware and hinges but am going to need some detailed pictures to put it back together as the holes have been glassed over and the interior latch gone. So if anyone has a detailed pics please post or email them to me. Thanks in advance for anything you can provide.

I know my login is new and have very few post but trust me, ive been a lurker for well over a year or so now. I look forward to all the input, advice and sharing this project with you all.

I know a post without pictures is not worth squat, so here you go!

Ive never met an alligator I didnt want to turn into a wallet and side of nuggets.

Thank you

I thought the latching mechanism would be a little more complex, seems the door would be able to bank around quite a bit that way.

Might be time for a little re-engineering
