Center Hatch Cover for a 170
« on: June 12, 2012, 06:21:01 PM »
Hello,

I am looking for a center hatch cover that fits the larger center compartment on the casting deck of a 1976 170. I can also take a larger one and cut it down to fit.

The actual hatch dimensions are 17 3/4" wide and 39 3/4" long.

If anyone has anything that will work please let me know. It will be refinished with flattened Awgrip paint and GripTex for the non skid so it doesn't have to be pretty.

Before restoring the boat it had a Starboard cover that will not be used.

Thank you

Have you got a picture of what your looking for?

I've got a center hatch door from my '70 22-2 I'd like to get rid of.

I will post a pic asap. If the hatch cover you have is larger than what I need I can cut it down.

Shipping would be to;

1311 Soundview Trail
Gulf Breeze, FL
32561

The starboard hatch that it will replace measures 17 3/4" wide and 39 3/4" long with radius corners. It's about 3/4" thick.

The one I have goes on the face of the casting platform....won't work for you.
Sorry about that.

You must have the "door" instead of the thicker cover.

Thank you anyways..
