Way to go Pete!

That niblet is more than the entire fleet here caught all day.

Beautiful day...but the ocean was DEAD. Reckon all of that hard wind from the Trop Storm still has everything muddled. No bait, no birds, no fish.

Only thing that hard easterly wind accomplished on this side was breaking the sargasso into little chunks, from 45 miles out all the way to the beach.

NO fish caught here today.

Yum.  One thing that Publix (a grocery chain) does here is take a salmon fillet and covers one side in crab spread and then rolls it up, slices it into pinwheels and puts it in tins - man is it good.  :thumleft:

Hey Kid, let me go ahead and field this one...

OK, Bondo, listen up. I'm only gonna go through this once.

The very first thing you're gonna wanna do, see, is you take the UV red-glow Super Salmon Spinner Sprocket...

Oh, Jeeeez, who am I kidding.  I can't catch a fricken cold (yet).

I'm so green, I have grass growing between my toes. It's really bad.  Ethan, you better answer the question.

But tomorrow is another day. I have a boat, gas, tackle, and desire.

The stuff great things are made of.   :sunny:

November!

There are still lots of fish 180miles south in Port San Luis/Morro Bay. Then we have all the fish coming south.

Usually fish Monterey Bay till end of July/August. Then move up to the Marin coast and get them just before they enter the SF Bay in October/November.

This season has been unreal. Like the good old days. With water diversions to the south subsided the last few years and a good hatchery program we are seeing a lot of good fish.
