1998 215 E I/O trim tab question

I was curious to know if Lenco 12x12 trim tabs will improve my ride. When the sea is rough here in Southern California my boat rides
pretty rough. I get slapped around and it ain't fun. I saw some new Lenco's on "Ship Shape TV" and they say ride, handling and fuel economy improves dramatically.
Anyone with first hand experience that has a 215 E Volvo/Penta with large or any size trim tabs out their?

If you dont have tabs now then yes they will help a lot but once it gets too rough it dosent matter what you have.
