Boat looks good, was wondering why the low price, then read the ad...PH issues.  Pretty good deal if you can rebuild the PH...and she'll move with a 225...

Well the PH definitely isnt rebuild able.  There is a huge hole on the side!  Just curious what you guys thought of the price for the hull only?  Fair?  thanks

Nice looking boat, but price it for hull and trailer only.     Why the reinforcement on the transom?  Check for flex there - bounce that motor up and down and see if the transom moves.  Also check for soft spots in the deck - usually up front and on the panel over the tank.  The tank cover is easy to recore, but the forward decking is a pain.  Doe it have the original tank?  Open one of the pie plates and stick your nose down there to sniff for gas.  Look up under the panel and check the wiring - OK or corroded?  Do all the electronics/pumps/lights work?  The hull and trailer are probably worth $3500 if all is solid and good - if not, you should deduct appropriately.

Good luck!  Good to see another CCP in NC.  If you get her, plan to be in Southport for the Octoberfest reunion!!!

Thanks for the tips!  Mind if I ask a question about your CCP?  What kind of fuel mileage do you get with the black max?  Do you run offshore out of NC?  If so, what is a typical fishing day like for you?  thanks

Fuel mileage - see below.
Do you run offshore out of NC?  Yes!  As often as I can, but my typical fishing day is on Lake Norman where we just catch'em until we are tired and out of beer (whichever comes first).

Check out the thread from the past Aquasport Octoberfests for some on-the-water Carolinas Aquasport action.
