Why the condom on the Power Pole?     Are you worried about safe sets?

Have you considered heat shrinking on the spike wrap?  Easier than covering the entire thing up and protects the hands should any idiot think it a good idea to hold it.

Just go to Power-Pole's website and order one - it's only $20.  Although heat shrink should be a lot less, it's the perfect length and width.  I turned my around so the "Swift. Silent. Secure." was facing towards the brackets and not out to the water being yet another advertising spot.

SO - Three Rooker, haven't been out there FOREVER!  How is it crowd wise?  Is it a good raft up with people having fun?  Or quiet and chill?   Is it worth the ride up?

I spend a lot of time at the Sandbar behind Weeden Island, Buncess Pass, Egmont, and Passage Key.  Sandbar is a lot of fun and full of eye candy on the right days.  Would like to spread out a bit from St. Pete.
