I am going to be finished with my rebuild here in the next couple months and I am really leaning on twins ... actually I want twins on this rig.... however I want to go yami four strokes and was curious as to know if anyone has this set up on this model with fourstrokes and how is the weight issue? I am putting alot of work into my rebuild and I want to get this right... I currently have a thread running about my rebuild under 1994 osprey which has been running for a while , at one point we almost landed on a 250 four stroke but the guy just wasnt honest about the motor. let me know your thoughts and also if you have twins on this set up can you post some pics thanks

for a 225 Osprey, twin 150 Yamahas if you want to fly, and I would say, down to twin 115's if you didn't care about winning any races, but the fuel mileage would be awesome for a boat of that size. JMHO.

You'll love the twins!
Twin 140 Suzi's would be SWEET.

The 150 OceanPro/OceanRunner that we used to install a lot in twin config on a 225 comes in at about 375 a piece. The Yam 4S is around 480 each. I believe that's dry weight. So you would be looking at a 200+ lb weight gain in the ass end...

I remember a short boat test in Boating Magazine many moons ago of a 225 Osprey rigged with twin 115 Zukes, I believe...but they were 2 strokes...
