Members,
I found this in my PM box this morning. Hopefully the member will see this and respond with further questions.

Hi Everybody, I recently purchased a 290xf and trying to work out kinks. I would appreciate imput on the size props others are using and what performance,mileage etc they are getting. I feel my boat is def proped wrong. I appreciate any imput I could get..Thank you

Yeah CB mine too, I suppose he went to the PM section and clicked on the "user's Groups" and shot out the message from there... Just a new member not knowing the functions, we'll get him squared away.  :thumright:

You're right. I see that now. Fearless Leader's User Group mass PMing does work.  :cheers:

At first I was excited that I had gotten a PM...then I realized it was a mass shot about a 290 XF (I have a 19-6 and know zero about the 290XF!). Needless to say, depression followed.

When we came up with the area groups idea, it offered a tool to mass PM in YOUR area to alert of a gathering or maybe a question about where to get something locally.
I see it does indeed work but not quite what we had in mind  :?

It's no big deal (no inconvenience), but I think anything you can accomplish with a mass PM you can also handle through the boards with a message placed in the appropriate area. Again, no sweat off my back, and love to see that you guys are working on making the site even better. :thumright:

I think he hit the "Central Florida" group...I think that's the only one that I am in, and I think it stretches from coast to coast maybe? How many 290XF posts/questions is that in the last few weeks from (presumably) separate posters? That boat just got hot apparently!
