PS.. Morse controls....nothing like the real deal
We already had one set of throttle cables. And with a west marine employee discount cable controls were a lot cheaper. Electronic are nice but in the end they both do the same thing.
I'm going with the dual morse setup on mine as well, it will actually look a lot like yours. Like Scott said, I think it looks awesome and is a time-tested setup. While the KE-4s are nice, you are still using mechanical cables. Not only are they a lot more expensive than the Morse, but it also seems like one more thing to go wrong.Again, a beautiful boat!

They even make actuators specifically for Hondas as their shift mechanisms require much more force than the other makes.Bigger boats, multiple stations, have been using Mathers and Glendinning electronic controls for years. You don't hear horror stories about them...I just think that, what, with the advent of all the sophistocated electronics that we use on our boats these days (that some feel they couldn't get along without them), why not go electronic on the controls?
