4 from the state of Ohio....heads said that is a first.

CB, hate it for the Noles. Stayed up last night pulling for them. Those last 2 games were probably their two worst of the year. America didn't get to see what we've been seeing all year.

Carolina lost their point guard too...looking rough for the ACC.

Maybe the Wolfpack can conjur up some magic.... :thumright:

John, that article was AWESOME. Brings back a lot of great memories. I was a freshman when David Thompson was a sophomore. He was the most amazing athlete I've ever seen. They listed him at 6-4, he was closer to 6-2. The vid of him blocking 6-11 Walton directly under the basket is on youtube. He was a nice guy too.

It was DT, Burleson, Monte Towe, Mo Rivers, Phil Spence, Tim Stoddard, and a blond headed guy I can't remember. They ended Wooden's UCLA dynasty. They lost one game over the course of 2 years.

Monte was cool, and the babes loved him. He always wore his letter jacket, even in the summertime. He had this smokin' blond girlfriend. I use to stand on the balcony at the dorm and look at her coming back from class. I wished I was Monte Towe.

The Booster's Club must have imported some girls. All of the starters had blond girlfriends. DT had two.

I say they were imported because most of the girls that went to State back then weren't very pretty. They were mostly farm girls, or textile majors. Or dairy majors, or animal husbandry majors.

Scott, if they're out tonight, it is frickin' beautiful this eve!  Dead calm here, so I would be guessing they are seeing around 5-10 kts on the water.  Temp is 72 right now, I'm in shorts out at the shop...
